BottleMark started making custom bottle caps in the summer of 2011 in Houston, Texas. We're a young company
and trying to prove that new technology can make personalization possible and affordable, starting with bottle caps.
Digital personalization is very new (entirely new, so far as bottle caps are concerned!)
so look out for lots of improvements and expansion to come!
Traditional bottle caps require an expensive and time-consuming lithographic procedure—and a minimum
order of half a million caps! With digital printing, innovative processes, and cool web technology, BottleMark makes fully
customized bottle caps available to everyone, not just large breweries. No longer will someone at the party ask you what
the heck is in this unlabeled bottle! It’s something that we, as homebrewers, have wanted for a long time.
Now you can not only easily label your brew: you can make it truly yours. With no minimum order, you’re free to experiment
with designs or order just the number you need. Care to print 200 different caps featuring your wedding guests' facebook
profile photos? We can do that! Our caps are fully-lined, standard crown cork caps, and our printing is direct, waterproof, and
durable.
Our print process has revolutionized bottle cap design possibilites. There are no color limits, and photos work great!
You can upload your college colors for tailgating, give necklace party favors with fun designs, hand out
unique business cards, turn your cat into a lolcap, send memorable save-the-date magnets, pass out custom drink tokens,
or create your own unique brand!
In order to give you the best color quality and range, we currently print on white caps only, but hope to allow
other colors in the future.
See about our caps and our tips on successful designs.
Remember: bottle caps are small objects. The best designs have high contrast and aren’t minutely detailed.
BottleMark offers a through-the-web design tool that makes custom designs easy. No need to contact us! Design it,
upload it, and your custom cap will come straight to your doorstep. We don’t like making you wait. You can even save
designs to use again later by creating a username with BottleMark. Right now our design tool allows you to upload one
image at a time (we’re working on expanding it), so if you want something more complex (multiple images, text, etc.),
all you have to do is create the image in a design program first, then upload it to BottleMark as a single image.
See our design resources page for more information, including links to free programs and templates.
BottleMark was created by J. Cameron Cooper, who had the idea years ago when he started home brewing with a friend—and
had way too many different batches in the fridge at once. Not a problem any more. He and his wife, Haley, run
it as their full-time ocupation, and look forward to seeing your designs. Cheers!
