Our checkout system is Google Wallet (formerly Google Checkout), a service like PayPal or Amazon Payments that uses a single account to pay at multiple merchants. Google Wallet is robust and secure, so you don't have to worry about your credit card data: BottleMark won't (and can't) even see it! Using this checkout system is as fast or faster than the usual online store's checkout form.

We think this checkout system is faster and more secure than the usual way. Don't be worried if you haven't used it before: it's really pretty easy. Please email us if you have any concerns about this system; we don't want technology getting in the way of custom bottle caps!

If necessary, we can also take payment through PayPal or mailed checks or money orders; local customers can even pay cash. You'll have to contact us to use any of these options, and they'll probably be processed more slowly since they have to be manually inserted into our highly automated system.

Ordering Custom Bottle Caps (and more)

If youre designing a custom cap: when your design is complete, hit the "Review and Add to Cart" button at the bottom of the design tool. That will bring up a dialog to confirm the design and present some terms. When you agree, add your design to the cart with the "Add to cart" button.

Or if you've found something in the Shop (including the Design Library) or your dashboard (logged-in users only) you want to buy, hit the same button:

This will place an item in the cart at the top right of the page. You can adjust the quantities there. It has a button to checkout ("Buy with Google"):

This will take you to the Google Wallet payment site. If you have a Google account already (like from GMail), log in with that. Otherwise, it just takes a moment to create an account (and you can use any email address you have, not just GMail). If you've used Google Wallet/Checkout before, you can review the shipping options and buy immediately. If not, you'll enter your payment data first.

Once you've logged in, you'll see a checkout screen like this:

Note: If you've made payments through this system before and have moved, please check that your shipping address is correct.

On this page:

• The Edit order link takes you back to a cart view to edit quantities and items.
• Shipping and Handling displays the various shipping options and their exact costs.
• PAY WITH and SHIP TO show the payment and address options you've set up. The drop-down allows you to add additional payment or shipping options.
• Under EMAIL PREFERENCES you can choose if BottleMark will see your real email address or a special one Google makes that will forward to you, and which you can shut off if we annoy you. We promise not to annoy you, but either way is fine.
• Add gift message lets you put a message on the packing slip if you're sending this order as a gift.
  Add gift receipt removes all prices from our packing slip.
• Add Special Instructions is for communicating with us about this order; use it to tell us about deadlines or anything else we may need to know.
• Finally, Place order now buys the order.

Once you're done at Google, BottleMark will start working on your order! Google Wallet sends all our status update emails; you will get one immediately as order confirmation. We don't charge your card right away, but only when it goes into the production queue. However, you may see an "authorization charge" show up immediately, but it will disappear in a few days. Google Wallet will send you another email when we ship, with tracking information (if available.)
